Welcome New Families

We are happy to welcome new families into the Lafayette community. We hope you will find Lafayette a warm and engaging place to be. So that we can reach out to you to welcome you to our community, we ask that new families fill out this form so that you can provide your contact info to our HSA Outreach Coordinator. We look forward to getting in touch with you!

For a look at many of the events and traditions that occur during the school year, check out our HSA Life at Lafayette Handbook (coming soon!)

Join Our Email List

The first thing you should do is join our email list. This will ensure you receive any important school updates over the summer. The school uses this list throughout the school year to send out urgent announcements and school closing updates, the weekly school  newsletter, notice of classroom happenings and field trips, and much more.

Family Directory

Every family receives a free copy of the Lafayette Family Directory. Make sure you’re in it! Just enter your family info into our online database and you’ll be good to go. The printed directory usually comes out in late October, and a mobile version will be available at that time as well. Please click here and follow the instructions for “New Families.”

School Supplies and Summer Reading Guide

As you get ready for the start of school, a list a school supplies that you’ll need can be found on our homepage. You can also find lists (by grade) of required summer reading and summer projects on the homepage.

Get Your Questions Answered

New families with Pre-Kindergarten or Kindergarten children should feel free to contact , our Early Childhood Coordinator (and Lafayette parent volunteer), with any questions about life at Lafayette.

For new families with children in grades 1-5, please send an email to our Outreach Coordinator (and Lafayette parent volunteer) . She can help answer you and your child’s questions about life at Lafayette and make your transition as easy as possible. Also, remember to fill out this form so that we can have your contact info!

All families are welcome to look at our guide — “HSA Life at Lafayette Handbook” — which tries to walk you through some of the events and traditions at the school and help you feel more at home.
