School Pictures - October 19 (individual) and May 4 (class portraits)
Professional photos are taken each fall of every Lafayette student. In the spring, class photos and school club photos are taken. Parents have the opportunity to purchase these pictures, which raises over $3,000 for Lafayette each year. For more information contact

Greenraising
Shop for eco-friendly products on-line and raise money for Lafayette at the same time. From lunch boxes and soccer balls, to chocolates and jewerly, there's something for everyone in the family. These environmentally safe products will help protect our planet, while 40% of the purchase price goes to Lafayette to help our school! Everything is delivered right to your door, so it's easy. Fall Festival - October 23
The first major school event in the fall, the Fall Festival is loads of fun for families all over the community. Usually occurring near Halloween, the Fall Festival includes pumpkin painting, a costume contest, games, food, and a bake sale. The 5th graders put on a wildly popular haunted house and the day is topped off with a movie night for the kids. This event has something for everyone in the family.
Spring Auction - March 19
The school’s largest fundraiser, the annual auction is a great adult night out. Enjoy excellent food, drink, and friends while you browse more than 15 categories of silent auction items including getaways, sports, out on the town, house and garden, cooking, and for-the-kids. The evening culminates in a spirited Live Auction offering an array of unique and often "priceless" packages. Not only does the auction raise significant funds, it is also a great opportunity to volunteer in a very rewarding way. You will meet many other parents from all grade levels and get a behind-the-scenes view of the school. For more information please contact

Spring Fair - May 7
The annual Spring Fair is a great day of fun for the whole family and our community at large. The school grounds and surrounding park fill with an array of rides and games such as a moon bounce, pony rides, a giant climbing wall, train rides, a dunking booth, arts & crafts, a plant sale and the ever-delicious bake sale. Plenty of carnival food is also available. It's like going to an amusement park right in the neighborhood and all profits benefit our school! Please contact

I Love Lafayette Night
These special nights out at Senor Pepper's on Connecticut Avenue are great social events! Sometimes Lafayette parents fill in as servers, other times there may be a band. It's always a good time, and a portion of the profits goes to the HSA. It's a fun way for parents to connect and enjoy a relaxed evening out with good food and friends.
