This is one of the easiest ways we make money at Lafayette! Just sign up at the beginning of the school year at your local Giant and Safeway and each time you shop Lafayette gets a portion of the proceeds. You can tell your family and friends to sign up, too. Remember, you must re-new or re-register each year in order for Lafayette to continue to receive benefits.

To sign up through Giant, go to the Giant website, click on Our Stores at the top, and select "Register Your Card" from the A+ column on the menu. The 12-digit number on the back of your bonus card is your Giant card number. Lafayette's designation number is 00160.

To sign up through Safeway, go to eScrip and click on "Step 1 - Sign Up." Search for Lafayette Elementary and choose the one in Washington, DC (there are many Lafayette Elementary schools!). Our group ID number is 11873297. You will be asked for your Safeway card number, which can be found on the back of your Safeway card. If you usually use your phone number and don't carry an actual card, call 1-877-SAFEWAY and they can tell you your card number.

Box Tops for Education
When you clip the Box Tops logo on many products you may already have in your home, Lafayette can earn money! Look for the Box Tops logo on hundreds of General Mills products and brands such as Cheerios, Betty Crocker, Hefty, Ziploc and Kleenex. Just cut them out and send them into school with your child. Each Box Top is worth 10 cents, which can add up quickly for Lafayette! Check out the Box Tops For Education website for a complete list of products and ways to participate.
