I have attached a message here from DC Public Schools Deputy Chancellor Dr. Melissa Kim providing an important update for the district’s early childhood education. Please note that Lafayette is not a recipient of Head Start funding, so our early learning programming will not be impacted by any changes to the grant award. The number of Pre-K classrooms we offer will remain the same.
