5th Grade Families – HERE WE GROW! Visit Alice Deal Middle School for one of their open houses. You will meet current Deal Middle Schoolers, connect with Principal Neal for a welcome and FAQ session, and participate in a Student Guided Tour. This is a great opportunity to see what’s happening at Deal. Open House is from 10 a.m. – 12 p.m. Tours will gather at the door to the far left when facing the front of the building (6th grade main door).

Preparing for Middle School:
- DCPS Enrollment: begins on April 1st, 2023 and can be completed online (https://enrolldcps.dc.gov) or in-person at Deal.
- Deal’s Language Course Selection: once you have enrolled, proceed to choose your language preference at https://tinyurl.com/Deal23-24
- Summer RISE Program: Deal will host RISE, its summer bridge program for incoming 6th graders, in July 2023. Students must be enrolled at Deal to participate in RISE. Your student’s RISE week is assigned alphabetically by last name. Program runs from 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 noon Monday through Thursday.
