We are here, and we stand together.
These last four months, we have all experienced varying levels of trauma. Trauma is a term used to describe our psychological, and emotional response to an event or experience that is deeply distressing or disturbing. Over the last three weeks we have watched the horrific, violent and racist events perpetrated against African Americans. We stand together as a community. We will continue to offer support and resources in order to assist families in having courageous conversations about race. Please complete this survey to assist us in identifying how we can help your family have the conversation, heal and grow. We are Lafayette, and as a community we are committed to being a part of the CHANGE.
Our Mental Health Team has compiled resources that will help your family have conversations, learn and grow together. There are great books, webinars and articles! Please open their newsletter to access them. 6.8.2020 Courageous Conversations Family Newsletter
