Everything you didn’t know you forgot about Back To School

T minus 11 days and counting until the first day of school!  Our teachers have already started putting their classrooms together, the building is nearly clean, and we are so excited to welcome everyone back.  Below are several reminders to help us have a smooth opening.

Keep reading to find more information about everything you didn’t know you forgot,  including becoming a Room Parent, Class Activity Fee, Back To School Huddles, School Supply Lists, Summer Reading Guide, and the PK4 Transition Week Schedule.

Room Parents Needed!

Click here for more information on how to become a room parent.  Our teachers need YOU!  Every classroom relies on the prowess of 2-3 room parents to help keep the wheels running smoothly.  We are now accepting volunteers for room parents on a first come first serve basis.

Class Activity Fee

Click here to pay for your class activity fee.  Each year, we collect a one-time payment of $100 from each child in the classroom to pay for teacher-organized field trips to locations like Mt. Vernon, the Smithsonian Environmental Research Center, and the National Zoo. The fees also fund end-of-year parties and field-day shirts in each class.  Class activity fees are due by September 28th.

Back To School Huddles – Thursday, 8/16
