First, we want to thank everyone who attended and supported our auction, Diplomatic Ties. It was a wonderful evening and we want to express our sincere thanks to our auction co-chairs Lara Kline and Chris Lisi and all auction volunteers for such a successful evening. Thanks to everyone who came out!
We wanted to update you on the recent work of the HSA board. In an attempt to streamline our work and increase volunteer opportunities that are more manageable in terms of time commitment, we are in the process of revising our by-laws and operating procedures. Among other changes, we will be proposing a smaller Board for next year and delegating more work to HSA committees. These bylaw changes will require the approval of our general membership. That vote will take place at a newly scheduled general meeting on Thursday, April 25. The board will be discussing the proposed changes at our next meeting, Monday, April 8 at 7pm and all are welcome to join the discussion. We welcome your input!
