We hope to see many of you at our upcoming HSA General Meeting on 2/7 at 7 PM. We have a number of important topics on the agenda.
Technology Funding Request: The school technology committee will present on the need to replace a large number of laptops for the 4th and 5th grades, in time for end of year testing. The proposed funding to support this would come from the HSA’s accumulated reserves. More detailed information from Dr. B and the tech committee on the school’s needs will be circulated in advance and we look forward to a engaged discussion. We will hold a vote on this item at the following general meeting, March 7.

2019-20 Budget Draft Presentation: A draft of the HSA budget for the 2019-2020 will be presented for questions and comments. The draft budget will also be circulated ahead of the meeting, and a vote will be held on March 7.
Governance Reforms: The HSA Board will be presenting an outline of governance reforms, some of which will require a revision of the bylaws. An initial discussion will occur at next week’s meeting followed by a vote before the end of the year.
