We hope that you are all continuing to manage through this challenging time. As the weather turns to fall, we are reminded of years past when we would gather in support of the Lafayette community at our beloved Fall Festival. As you know, we are not holding the Fall Festival this year which served as a fundraising event and would like to ask you to make a contribution to the Bear Fund to help support our school.

The Bear Fund is the Lafayette HSA’s annual fundraiser that supports the Peace program, teacher supplies, scholarships, and so much more. However, this year our school looks much different than years past. Despite our new environment, the Bear Fund remains critical to school support in these uncertain times.

The Bear Fund has allowed Lafayette to rise up to meet the unexpected. During the COVID pandemic, we have purchased laptops for teachers, provided immediate help for families and staff in need, and met the social and emotional needs of our children. Our goal as an HSA is to provide a stable environment for our children, teachers and families. Maintaining that stability means supporting our current needs, but having flexibility if new ones arise. This year, the Bear Fund will be the main fundraiser for Lafayette.
