Today marks the last day of Bear Fund Week. Thanks to everyone who has already donated to the Bear Fund to strengthen Lafayette, enhance learning for all of our students, and provide support to DCPS schools of greatest need through the Equity Pledge. Participation from the Lafayette community is returning to pre-pandemic levels and we are so close to reaching our goal of $120,000. If you haven’t given yet, there is still time to fill the honey pot!

The Bear Fund will accept gifts throughout the school year, but if you give today, you will be entered into the raffle for Capitals Tickets, Spring Auction Tickets, or Grizzly Gear. Raffle winners and the grade with the highest participation will be announced on Monday, December 6.

Visit the tents outside school at pick up today to make your gift, get an update on our goal (we are so close!), high five the Lafayette Bear, and grab some sweets.
