All students and staff will be required to provide proof of a negative COVID-19 test before returning to school on Monday, February 28.

On Sunday, February 27, take the easy to use at-home test using the instructions provided, and upload your test results to dcpsreopenstrong.com/safereturn by Sunday, February 27 at 5 pm. Review how to complete the online form.

A few important things to note:
  • Your child should begin to isolate immediately if they receive positive test result. Your child’s isolation period may be different based on the severity of your COVID infection and whether you participate in additional testing.
  • Students will not be permitted to attend school until they provide proof of a negative test result following the February break. If a student arrives at school without completing a test, families will be provided with a test kit to administer. Unaccompanied students will be tested on-site by trained medical professionals but may face a lengthy wait outside before starting the school day.
  • If you choose to opt your child out of rapid antigen tests administered on-site at school by using this form, your child must quarantine for 10 days and cannot attend school during this time.
