A Feast with Friends!
Dream a delicious dream. Personal Chef John Derlega, formerly of Rose's Luxury, and Pineapple and Pearls, will take you and your guests on a culinary adventure from the comfort of your own home. Chef Derlega and the winner of this wonderful package will work together to figure out the meal of your dreams. Take a tour of South East Asia with a Thai inspired whole suckling pig as the centerpiece, including handmade gyoza/dumplings and wasabi crab cakes. Or maybe it’s a ladies luncheon with individual lobster pot pies and Champagne. Or a Northerner Italian Piedmont dinner with ravioli in brodo, a duck ragu and a Magnum (or two) of quality Borollo. Or maybe you want to grill a couple Japanese wagyu steaks, indulge with oysters on the half shell, and drink aged single malts. Whatever it is, it will be delicious, and fun!!

Murder at the Juice Joint Speakeasy
A night of mystery and intrigue in the wild and romantic era of the roaring 20's! This party includes a four-course dinner and open bar. With the passing of prohibition and organized crime on the rise, The Juice Joint, a swanky speakeasy run by Rosie Marie, has been nothing but jumping. To celebrate its success, Rosie is planning a party to remember at the exclusive nightspot… and you are invited! However, one of the names on the guest list is also on another’s hit list… and no one is safe from the consequences. With murder on the menu, you are certain to find a medley of individuals to make the night most memorable. Will the culprit be the Mayor who is capable of murder? The blacklisted bootlegger desperate to increase their sales? Or the director with a shot at making history? Come find out!

When: May 12, 2018, 7pm-11pm
Where: 3019 Oregon Knolls Drive NW
Hosts: Fruzsina and Phil DiRuggiero, Brianne and Alex Cohen, Sheri and Matt Lockwood, Rachael Overcash and Michael Umpierre, Heather and Mat Schwenk

Artist Collective

Class Creations are the best art investment you can make, and are on display from now until the Auction in the library!
Class Creations are a win-win-win: students have a chance to work together to make something amazing, you have a chance to own a piece of original artwork that’s also a piece of Lafayette history, and the funds from sales help to support our school. Is there any better reason to invest in art? Fall in love at first sight here and be ready to bid high Auction night.

Savage Shamrocks
They came, they saw, they stocked
They were the first to host a “stock the pub party”, so it is only fitting that they hosted it again this year—their last year at Lafayette. It was an easy-going evening with good friends, yummy snacks and a nice mixture of donated whiskey, bourbon and scotch. Added bonus—after sampling a few tasty cocktails we agreed upon a signature cocktail for the Auction. Thank you to all who came out to join in the fun on such a blustery night, and a very heartfelt THANK YOU to Jason and Jennifer Bertsch and Rob and Hope Scheller. Go raibh maith agat (may you have goodness)!
