Join HoopEd May 24th and 25th for All Sports and Games OR Hoops Basketball Camp!

School is closed, but camp is OPEN here at Lafayette ES! Boys and Girls ages 5-13 are welcome and aftercare is available!

All Sports and Games: Games include everything from kickball, soccer, flag football, wiffle ball, and basketball to all sorts of dodge ball games, capture the flag, and even old school "kick the can!"

Hoops Basketball Camp: Each day of camp will have skills development sessions in the morning and plenty of team games throughout the day. Skills include dribbling, shooting, passing, pivoting, rebounding, and defense!

Experienced Tutor Seeking Clients

Lafayette Special Educator with 12 years of teaching experience and 11 years of tutoring experience is seeking new clients for the summer. Help prevent that summer learning loss! Some areas of focus include reading (sight word help, decoding, fluency, and comprehension); math (word problems, multi-step math problems, and math facts fluency help) and written expression (pre-writing, writing, and editing). No Summer Plans Yet? Don’t Panic - Lafayette Tennis Summer Camp – Fun Summer Activities

Haven’t planned out your kids summer yet? No worries! We still have lots of spots in our half and full day summer tennis camp. Fun for beginners through advance tennis players ages 4 through 15. Half day camp for youngsters already out of school the week of June 4th. Full and half day camps starting June 18 through August 25. We will be swimming at the Takoma Pool twice a week most weeks in the afternoon. Enjoy tennis, camaraderie, Lafayette Splash Park, BBM. NO ELECTRONICS! We go to the Citi Open in late July to see the pros play.

Bring your family, your neighbors, your friends who are still in elementary school - it's a great show for younger kids - and come out and see just how talented Deal 6th graders are. Make a night of it for the family. Pizza and refreshments will available for purchase by the ADCA prior to the show and at Intermission. All performances will be in the Alice Deal Auditorium located at 3815 Fort Drive. Just enter through the front doors.
