The Lafayette Home and School Association, on behalf of all students and parents, would like to express our deepest appreciation and gratitude this Teacher Appreciation Week.

Thank you for the warmth, strength, adaptability, grace and resilience our teachers, staff and administrators have brought to virtual and in-person learning as we navigate this once-in-a-lifetime pandemic. Your daily acts of heroism have not gone unnoticed! We love you!

Here is the schedule for Teacher Appreciation Week!

Monday, May 3 – Breakfast treats! In-person staff will be treated to Call Your Mother bagels! Virtual staff will receive Starbucks gift cards.

Tuesday, May 4 – Cards and drawings from our students! Families, please have your child make a drawing or a picture to let our teachers feel the love and know just how much we appreciate all of their hard work! Virtual families, please snap a picture of your card or drawing and send to your teachers by email!
|
Thursday, May 6 – Lunch on us! In-person staff will be treated to lunch bowls and sandwiches! Virtual staff will receive Grubhub gift cards.
|
Friday, May 7 – A bouquet of thanks! It’s a Lafayette tradition! Families, please have your child bring in a flower for each teacher, aide or staff member they would like to celebrate. HSA will provide ribboned mason jars so each teacher goes home with a beautiful, mixed arrangement. Virtual teachers will receive pop-up cards.
