Do you like to party? Are you a host or hostess with the mostest? Then host a party in support of the HSA and upcoming auction! Hosting a party is a great way to support the HSA auction and meet families around the neighborhood.

What is a party? It’s a time to share things that you enjoy, showcase a talent, or just have fun with a theme. Some previous events include a kids outdoor movie night, a guided nature walk through Rock Creek Park, Dad’s night out, wine tastings, and a Polynesian themed party for adults. Depending on your choice of event, you can host a party for adults only, kids or both.

Who hosts? The parties are hosted by a Lafayette family or a group of families. Tickets to your party are then sold the night of the auction to the number of people you’d like to attend for a set price.

How do I host? Come up with a party idea for you and your friends to host. Pick a date and the number of guests you’d like to host. You cover all costs, find a location and get any necessary supplies.

When are the parties? You pick the date and time most convenient for you and your co-hosts. Most parties take place before the end of the school year, but a party this fall is great too!

Where are the parties hosted? You arrange a location suitable to your event size and type. Parties are hosted in homes and backyards, at restaurants or in parks.

Tickets cost $90 per person in advance, $100 per person after 4/16 and $110 per person at the door. Please buy tickets by 4/16 if possible so we can get an accurate headcount to better plan for this unique outdoor event and keep the lines moving at the door!
