Piano Lessons for Lafayette Students

The Piano Studio of Maude Fish has a few openings for students starting in January. In this studio, the focus is on engaging with music in a meaningful and lasting way at the keyboard. With this goal in mind, I place an emphasis on learning to read music. I have taught privately for decades, including ten years at Holton-Arms Center of the Arts and also in the classroom for winter and spring semesters in 2004 at Lafayette! I have two adult children who attended
Lafayette, and continue to find joy in engaging in musical activity. If you think your child is interested in finding his or her own musical path, please contact Maude Fish.

Lafayette Legends Basketball

Have you been looking for a great game of neighborhood basketball? Join the Lafayette Legends Basketball League. It has been in the community for over twenty five years.

We are looking for adult men and women who love basketball to join our league. We plan to form several teams to play on Friday evenings from 7:30-9:30 starting in early January. All games will be played in the Lafayette gym. Registration forms are located in the Lafayette school front office or see attachment. This is meant to be a fun community event. Please feel free to contact Bobby Johnson if you have any questions via email or call (202) 276-6423.

Submissions for next week's issue should be emailed to news@lafayettehsa.org. Submissions are due by 9:00 p.m. on Sundays. Submissions received after this time will be included in the following issue, unless instructed otherwise.
