One class in each grade will receive a Potomac Pizza Party for purchasing the most auction tickets. That’s right… you and your fellow class parents/caregivers just need to buy your auction tickets to add to your child’s class count. Buy yours and encourage other parents as well before the price goes up!

Go above and beyond, purchase a Host Committee ticket for $150 We’ll recognize you in the program for being extra awesome and you get to support the school and your child’s pizza race! It’s the best committee ever, all the credit and no meetings!

Volunteers Sign Up is Open
Thank you to all of our auction committee volunteers to-date for helping plan what is going to be a great event. We are calling on current or new volunteers to sign up for slots to help with set up and “lite” tasks during the auction. Globes Needed (Real Ones)
As we prepare to travel around the world, we are in search of globes in all sizes and colors that could be borrowed (and well cared for) as part of an auction decor idea. If you have a globe we can borrow (or more!), please clearly label it and drop it off in the front office by Thursday, March 14. All globes will be available for pick up at the end of the auction or in the office on Monday, March 18.

Green Bay Packers 50 Yard Line
|
This will be a LIVE auction item. You must be there in person to win. Are you a football fan who has always wanted to experience a game at historical Lambeau field, home of the Green Bay Packers? Do you want to root for the Washington Redskins at one of their biggest road games of the year? This treat is for any sports fan!

You will receive two tickets to watch the Packers face off against the Redskins in Green Bay, Wisconsin, next season. The tickets are club seats at the 50 yard line, top row of the stadium, which means you can stand anytime you want to with nobody behind you and have direct access just a few steps away to the indoor club facility, with food service, bar, rest rooms. The tickets come with a reserved parking pass for a lot immediately adjacent to the stadium. Face value for the tickets is approximately $500. This package also comes with up to $500 of airfare from the Washington area to Milwaukee or Green Bay, Wisconsin.

Dance tango in four lessons: Tuesdays, April 9. 16, 23, 30 at 6:30 pm. Classes are for beginners and should be taken in order as each class builds progressively; instructors will not start over from the beginning. Classes are offered in a 4-class package ONLY.

What Does the Auction Support?
The HSA provides nearly $300,000 annually (nearly $400 per student) to support our school community and programs including both grade-specific informances, extra curricular programs, classroom supplies, science programs, and more. We help fund our school’s one-of-a-kind Peace Program which focuses on social and emotional learning and makes our school a kinder, more inclusive place. Importantly, we also help cover many building and school supplies costs so that Dr. B can focus her budget on teachers.
