Girl Scouts! Calling all girls* who want to meet new friends, explore the outdoors and learn new skills, all in a girl-led and nurturing environment. If your daughter is interested in being a Girl Scout please complete the questionnaire at bit.ly/LafayetteGS1920and/or attend the family interest meeting on Sunday, Sept 16 2:00–3:00 at the Chevy Chase DC Library 5625 Connecticut Ave NW, Washington, DC 20015.

New Daisy troops are being formed for kindergarten girls. Girls at other grade levels will be placed in an existing troop where space is available. Or, if there is demand, we will form new troops for other grade levels as well.

Want to introduce girls to new experiences that show them they’re capable of more than they ever imagined? Become a leader! Contact Angela Carpenter Gildner, Lafayette Troop Coordinator at LafayetteESGirlScouts@gmail.com with your questions or to volunteer.

*If a child is recognized by the family and school/community as a girl and lives culturally as a girl, then Girl Scouts is an organization that can serve her in a setting that is both emotionally and physically safe.
