Keep Full-Time Nurses at Lafayette; Calls Needed ASAP!
Please take action!
As some of you may have heard, this week DCPS is reviewing how nurses are assigned in every public school across the city, including Lafayette. We need your voice of support heard ASAP.
|
On Thursday, the DC Committee on Health will review and mark-up the Public School Health Services Amendment Act of 2017 which will determine whether DCPS schools will continue to have full-time, licensed nurse coverage in the months ahead.
Please call and email your council member TODAY and them we want their vote of support to require 40 hours of licensed school nursing coverage per week with no exceptions.
