Celebrating the 1st Week; more fun to come Week 2!

Thank you all for an incredible opening week to the 2019-2020 school year. Our opening was smooth, warm, and joyful. Our kids came to school as joyful, eager learners, we welcomed many new families, and we got to know our new teachers and staff members. By the end of the week we were deep into our social emotional learning and academic instruction. New friendships were blooming and old friendships were being revived.

Week 2 brings the first full day for all of our littlest people in PK4, and Back to School Nights (BTSN) on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. As a reminder, BTSN is for adults only. These are great evenings to get to know more about your classroom teachers, as well as the specials teachers, coaches, and club sponsors. We will also have Grizzly Gear for sale, the opportunity to sign up for TB tests, and information on how to get involved with the HSA and donate to the Bear Fund.

This week, we have Back To School Night. Check out all the details here.
  • 3rd – 5th Grade—Tuesday, September 3
  • 1st and 2nd Grades—Wednesday, September 4
  • PreK and KDG —Thursday, September 5
Thank you to all the HSA members and parent volunteers who supported our opening. The hours of playdates, communication, and events this summer supported the early and strong connections within our community. This week you will get a chance to meet your Room Parents during BTSN. They will continue to foster the connections between school and the HSA, as well as support the teacher in the classroom.
