Lafayette Gives Back’s annual book drive to benefit Takoma Elementary School is now underway through Friday February 17. Many students there do not have access to books at home and this book drive is a huge help. We will be collecting books ONLY for grades preK-3 through 5th grade. Please no textbooks, baby books, or books that would otherwise not be appropriate for these age groups, and please donate only books that are in good condition. We have bins in the front of school for collection, or books can be dropped off on the front porch of 3215 McKinley St NW.
