See new film “Origin” at Landmark’s E Street Cinema

You are invited to a private screening of Ava DuVernay’s sensational new film ORIGIN. The film, premiering in select theaters in January, is inspired by Isabel Wilkerson’s New York Times bestselling novel CASTE: The Origins of Our Discontents.

One of our Lafayette parents, Maria Morukian, is working with Ms. DuVernay’s production team to ensure that as many learners of all ages can see the film and access our free-of-charge learning materials to delve deeper into the themes depicted in the movie.

The screening will take place Saturday, January 20th at 8:00pm at Landmark’s E Street Cinema (555 11th St NW, Washington, DC 20004). All proceeds from this screening will go to ensuring that underserved youth are able to screen the film free of charge. We invite you to donate the price of a ticket ($15.00).

Seats are on a first-come/first-serve basis. Please secure your spot TODAY as space is limited and will assuredly sell out for this one-of-a-kind opportunity!!
