Thank you for supporting the DC Newcomer Fair! The generous donations of goods, stuffed animals, and coats will provide much needed assistance on January 26th at DCPS’s annual Newcomer Fair. Students and families who have recently arrived in our country will attend for essential immunizations as well as basic supplies. And through the community’s generosity, Lafayette Gives Back has been able to help DCPS central in sourcing welcome bags for the fair. There is still time to donate any stuffed animals or coats in the bins in front of the school today and tomorrow.
– Donate like-new stuffed animals In our donation bin at the front of school, we are collecting “like-new” stuffies! Please drop them off in a plastic bag to keep them protected.
– Donate winter coats – In our donation bin at the front of school, we are also collecting winter coats of all sizes. Again, no stains or rips please.
