PreK Leading the Bear Fund Participation Race! Please Give Today!

After a Giving Tuesday bump, Bear Fund is almost 70% to goal, with PreK currently in 1st place for participation! 1st and 2nd grades are tied for 2nd, and 3rd grade is right on their heels. It’s a friendly competition among grades to benefit our school!

Thank you to all the families, grandparents, and even school neighbors who have donated so far!  The HSA is striving to not only reach its fundraising goal of $155,000 but also make this the year with the most participation. You can make that happen!

Lafayette is DCPS’s largest school but receives funding that is disproportionate to its student count. It’s this reason the HSA aims to cover over $400 per student this year to bridge the gap between what DCPS provides and all the things that make Lafayette such a special school: quality musical instruments, art supplies, technology, cleaning supplies, special programming, extra-curriculars, events, and SO MUCH MORE!

Remember that everyone who donates by the end of the day tomorrow Friday, Dec 1 will be entered to win*:

  • Four tickets to a Washington Capitals
  • Two spring auction tickets
  • $100 in Grizzly Gear!

Let’s do this, Lafayette! Jump in the participation race and earn yourself a raffle entry – CLICK HERE TO DONATE!
